Response to a 'Quandary'
A column written in the Independent newspaper education section on 13th May 2010 highlighted a practical science 'quandary':
' My son used to love science, and we always thought he would take science A-levels, but he has done almost no practical science since he started at secondary school and now seems completely turned off. Is this common? And is there anything we can do to rekindle his enthusiasm?'
The Getting Practical team responded to this and although our response was unable to be printed with the column, it was published on the columnist's own blog.
